Tina MehrTina Mehr is an associate in the Securities Litigation Group of Alston + Bird LLP. Tina concentrates her practice on securities and corporate governance litigation, which includes securities fraud actions, shareholder derivative suits, corporate investigations and other complex commercial litigation.
Tina has extensive trial experience gained from working in the Major Crimes Unit of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to attending law school, Tina was a commercial insurance underwriter and broker and is well-versed in D&O indemnification, E&O insurance policies, reservations of rights, allocation issues and coverage strategies. Tina earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2010, where she was managing editor of the UCLA Law Review, and earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2006. Tina served as a law extern to the Honorable Richard A. Paez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Tina is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as the Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern District Courts of California. |
